The XVR2108HD is a modern DVR, designed to record video from analog, AHD and digital cameras. It allows you to build a high quality monitoring system at low cost. It works as follows: the camera is connected to the DVR via a cable. The DVR receives the signal, converts it into an image, compresses it, and if necessary, records in a hard disk. Simple to operation and installation, it can be placed by the end user at no cost.

The DVR can generate AHD, CVI, TVI, IP and CVBS signals at the same time. Its hybrid technology makes it ideal for existing monitoring system installations where upgrade is required without space interventions.

The BMC XVR is designed for use with 1080p wired cameras that use standard BNC cabling to transmit HD images. Industry leading 1080P (2MP) recording resolution ensures high quality live-viewing and recording. The result is a sharper, undistorted image with a true-to-life aspect ratio that leaves nothing to the imagination.

The camera is easy to install and requires little maintenance. With 1/ 2.9” SONY CMOS Sensor, the camera can capture superior image quality video at night, up to 25m. It has a built-in OSD menu that can change the 4 different video outputs HD-TVI, AHD, CVI & CVBS(960H) and adjust the video setting.

The BMC XVR is able to record security footage in three different ways. You can record video continuously, during scheduled times, or when movement is detected. These recording modes can be customized with each camera as well, so you can program higher activity cameras to record all of the time while lower activity cameras can be set up to record only on motion events or during the night.	This DVR has an auto-recovery function that will automatically reboot if there is a power outage. You don't have to do a thing - it will simply start recording again within minutes of regaining power. It also includes a feature that is continuously monitoring the system for potential system errors. If program ever detects a critical error, it will automatically restart the DVR and start recording again.
